With braveness, anything is possible.

The Want For Change Needs To Be A Priority, Not Just An Option

The world is a melting pot of people who live each and every day with the fear of the unknown. Somedays, we wake up in the morning with the possibility of not knowing where we are going or what our day will be comprised of.

If you are going to wake up bright and early to go get your usual coffee at the local shop, how long is the line going to be? Will you arrive to work on time? Or if you are not setting your alarm clock, what time will you wake up? Are you wasting your day away?

These questions are the unidentified. The ones that won't be answered until you go out into the world and find an answer. Let's begin searching...

Every day is a new adventure. A time for you to be the person you always strived to be. Ultimately, you must "be the change you wish to see in the world," said Mahatma Gandhi.

With life, there are ups and downs. Often, these events are out of a person's control or can be changed in due time. This want for change can be solved in many ways but the first step to doing so is to simply, be brave.

Braveness goes a long way. It is what makes individuals stand out from one another. It is what is needed in life to solve problems and most importantly make a change. Without one's courage, the world wouldn't be nearly as innovated and advanced as it is today.

As people grow and mature, you tend to learn more about yourself than you thought was possible. You don't just go through puberty, you experience a time where you decide what your purpose in life is. This moment in time can be whenever. It can be reoccurring or it can change. This is something you as a person decide.

Finding your purpose in life takes time and searching. Each chapter in one's life brings on new decisions and exploration. College is the point in one's life where choosing what to study is the main factor in your future endeavors. More specifically, you are determining your career path.

Generation by generation, the choices we make reflect different milestones. Whether it is voting for the next President or deciding what classes you want to take, everything we do is a part of our purpose.

Together, we lay the groundwork for generations ahead. We are the foundation.

So when you wake up tomorrow morning, ask yourself, what is your purpose? What are you going to do today? What do you want the outcome of your day to be? With these questions in mind, your goal of the day will become a reality.

Be the change you wish to see because, without your perseverance and strength, nothing will ever change.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
