The grace of being fully known

The Value Of Clarity

So often in this life, we are unclear. We are unclear with our intentions. We are unclear with our goals. We are unclear in our relationships. We live in a a world where being definite is of little value, where it isn't "cool" to be intentional.

And how wrong it that?

See I believe there is true value in clarity. There is value in telling the world what you want and need. There is value in pursuing those things. There is value in being intentional with your relationships. There is value in letting others know exactly where you stand, shortcomings and all. There is value in clarity, in allowing yourself to be transparent.

So often, we are lulled into believing that being clear with our passions, goals, and relationships isn't valuable. And that's the exact opposite of true. You know how I know this? Because God's love is the definition of clarity. He is never unclear or hidden in his intentions. God gives his love FREELY and OPENLY in perfect CLARITY. It is up to us then to accept this beautiful gift. God is never unclear in how much he loves us.

You see, there is true grace in clarity. There is true grace in being honest and open and fully known. Because the only way to be fully loved, is to be fully known. God fully knows you, every single part. And His love is still the greatest, most overwhelming thing in existence.

You see the value in clarity?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
