The Two Weeks Before Winter Break As Told By Family Guy

I hate the feeling of having to come back to class after a break for only two weeks.

I love Thanksgiving. The food, the family, the time away from school, all of it. However, the WORST part about Thanksgiving break is the fact that 1) it's very short and 2) there are only about 2 and a half weeks left of the fall semester before you get another break for the winter. Personally, I have a love-hate relationship with Thanksgiving break, but I think I would love it if I didn't have to come back to school afterward. So, here's the cast of family guy to get across how the last two weeks before winter break make me, a college student, feel.

1.The feeling of having to go back to class after Thanksgiving break and realizing you have to sit through another two weeks of class.

2.Your professors start assigning final projects, papers, and study guides all due within these next two weeks.

3.You try to make sense of what your professors are saying, but let's be real, you just can't focus anymore.

4.That taste of sleeping in you got over break? Yeah, that's gone for about 2-3 weeks.

5.Oh yeah, and that taste of a home cooked meal you got? Well, now it's back to frozen meals and expensive campus food.

6.It not only becomes a countdown to Christmas, but the countdown till the end of the semester.

7.The added stress of the end of the semester and the holidays causes major break outs and internal screaming.

8.You check your grades on Blackboard everyday and try to figure out if it's even possible to save your final grade or if you should just give up now.

9.Then there's also the moment you check your bank account and realize that, not only do you have to go Christmas shopping, but you also have to live off of $10 for the next two weeks.

10.That moment when you finish your last final and finally get to go home!

Happy Holidays everyone! Remember, finish strong and do your best! Christmas break is right around the corner and I know we can all make it through.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
