The Top Tricks to Keeping a Clean House

Having a clean house has its own merits, including being organized, avoiding clutter, preventing the spread of germs, and keeping out pests found in rotten remains of food particles. Some of the tricks to maintain a clean house are listed below;

1. Do Laundry Every Day

A load of laundry each day goes a long way; therefore, it is important to put your load of dirty clothes in the machine first thing in the morning. If you do not have time to wait for the laundry to get cleaned, you can leave your load in the machine and turn it on when you get home. Ensure that by the end of the day, you dry your clothes and fold them.

2. Make Sure Your House Is Free of Pests

Pests harbor germs and diseases; therefore, you should ensure that none are lurking in your house. You can use insecticides such as, Novacide Aerosol which kills cockroaches, fleas, ticks, moths, and ants. You can spray Novacide Aerosol to your furry friends to keep them pest-free.

3. Always Make Your Bed.

The first step of organizing your bedroom is making the bed. It is important to spread your bed in the morning every day. To reduce the stress of making your bed, you can opt to reduce the number of beddings you have; this way, you can take less time and effort in making your bed.

4. Write a List in Order of Priorities.

A list detailing what needs to be done first and what follows next enables you to cover as much ground as possible. The list should include your topmost cleaning goals and the time you need to achieve them. Sticking to a list enables you to focus on what to clean and organize first with the amount of time you have.

5. Ensure Your Evening Routine Includes Some Cleaning and Organizing.

Try simple cleaning tasks in the evening, such as clearing and wiping the table after dinner, washing dinner utensils, wiping your countertops, and folding any clean clothes washed during the day. Tackling the smaller tasks will make your work easier in the morning and spare you more time to finish what you could not clean or organize.

6. Avoid Clutter in Your House.

Sparing some time to de-clutter your house is an important step to keep your space always organized. Getting rid of things you do not need makes dusting easier, and you take less time to clean the house. Organizing only the things you need in an accessible way makes it easy for you and your family to be tidier.

7. Focus Your Cleaning On Areas That Get Dirty Often.

Some of the areas that get dirty often include the entryway, and it is essential that you clean them regularly to avoid dust and dirt build-up in your entire house. You should mop, sweep or vacuum these spaces daily. Also, you can put a rug in your front door to trap dust and dirt from outside. Another way of preventing a lot of dirt is by having a basket or rack to put your dirty shoes on when entering the house.

Cleaning your house daily or more regularly enables you and your family to have happier, healthier lives. Always thrive to maintain a clean house using the above tips, and you will always have a clean and comfortable space.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
