What It's Like For Baylor Fans To Attend An Away Football Game

You are giving me gray hairs, Baylor.

What It's Like For Baylor Fans To Attend An Away Football Game

1. I am shocked by the inefficient parking systems (at least Baylor tells me where I can't park).

2. What do you mean I don't get to walk across a river to get to the stadium? Do you think I would rather walk across a campus that isn't as beautiful as Baylor's?

3. I already dislike the opposing fans; they're loud and I can't understand what they're cheering.

4. ENUNCIATE.

5. Where is Art? I need him in all of his long-sleeved glory!

6. And there's no WiFi.

7. I'm so far away from the team. They definitely need me closer so they can hear me chanting all of our fight songs and see me dancing for them.

8. WAIT, WHY IS THE GAME STARTING? THE LINE HASN'T EVEN- Oh. Oh, wait.

9. SO THEN, WHERE'S KENNIE?

10. I can't watch a game if I don't get to see him high stepping across the field.

11. Also, half of the band is missing, so I guess I'll just lead the cheers myself. Everyone, follow my lead.

12. I don't recognize a single person around me. Is there a specific section for Baylor students?

13. Everyone from the opposing side is so hostile. What did I do to you?

14. Besides go to a better school.

15. Art always seems more stressed when we're away from Mclane.

16. I guess we usually don't play as well away from home.

17. OK, like that pass right there, I doubt that would've happened at McLane.

18. Oh, wait, another touchdown.

19. Thanks for the stressful memories of another away game, Baylor! Though you have me biting my nails in anxiety during halftime, I will always love you.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
