If you're heading out to a restaurant, being a picky eater can be one of the most challenging parts of your experience. With only one or two items on the menu being something you'd actually want to eat, you find yourself stressed out before you even get there. Sound relatable? Here are 10 more things only picky eaters understand:
1. When you go to a fancy restaurant and each meal costs fifty dollars, but nothing on the menu that looks appetizing to you.
2. If you order a burger, it's just a plain burger, bread and, if you're lucky one or two other toppings.
3. You have to scour every single restaurant's menu before deciding if you want to go there for dinner.
4. You can't just take the food you don't like off of your meal because you can still taste it afterward.
5. The foods on the plate can never touch... like ever.
6. All of your friends and family already know your order before you even go inside the restaurant.
7. Trying a new food is a leap of faith which hardly ever goes in your favor.
8. Not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings by not eating the food they've cooked.
9. When your mom has to make more than one meal for dinner because you don't like what everyone else is eating.
10. Being asked if you've tried something before when you obviously have–I mean, how else would you know that you don't like it?
