Being a lefty is harder than it looks. We're forced to live in a world dominated by right-handed people, and sometimes we just get sick of it. We didn't choose this life, we were born into it; however, we wouldn't want it any other way. From having a nice silver smudge down the side of your hand to struggling with objects meant for righties, here are some things we deal with on a daily basis.
1. When people say, "Oh my gosh, you're a lefty?!"
No, I had no idea, but thanks for pointing it out. I also had no control over this either. But I guess it does make me pretty cool.
2. Always being forced to use the right-handed glove in gym class.

Tennis or golf, anyone?
4. RIGHTY SCISSORS.
So, so painful. Where can we find normal scissors?
5. "Did you know that people used to think that lefties were the devil?"
Thank you, for basically telling me I'm the devil.
6. Having to move the mouse on a computer to the opposite side, but the cord is too short.
Reaching across your body for the mouse has become comfortable for you.
7. Writing with a pencil, only to find you've just smudged everything you've written.
And you have a lovely silver tattoo on the side of your hand. Your next stop is probably going to be the bathroom to scrub it off.
8. To add onto that: trying to write in binders.
You either have to pull out every page or try to maneuver around the rings.
9. Sitting in righty desks in class.
10. And bumping elbows with the person next to you in said desk.
Please just let me sit on the end.
11. But there's nothing better than finding a fellow lefty.
You have a brand new friend with something to bond over that not many people understand
12. Even though we struggle, at least we get our own holiday.
Take that, righties.
