Even if you aren't that great at applying it.

The Struggle Of Loving Makeup

Makeup is a magical thing. You can go from homeless to fabulous in no time. Unfortunately though, not everyone has makeup artists on standby whenever you need to be glammed up (we are talking about you, Kardashian/Jenner sisters). Since there are tons of ladies out there that do not have sculpted cheekbones or naturally thick eyebrows we have to rely on ourselves in order to look more presentable.

Now ladies, you are not making yourself more beautiful. Every female is exceptionally beautiful in their own way, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a little help to make our features pop. If you refer to the picture of myself, I certainly am no makeup Guru, but with practice I have managed the basics. I have watched an embarrassing amount of tutorials and read plenty of step by step guides, and still cannot seem to nail whatever look I am trying to achieve. A lot of us are not blessed with a steady hand to nail that winged eyeliner.

So what do you do when you love makeup but are not a professional by any means when applying it? Well, all you can do is practice, practice, practice.

Can't perfect the smokey eye?Stick with neutral shades to still give your eyes some color and then build up to that smokey eye.

Can't get your face to look like it was chiseled by Donatello himself? Still add some blush to give your face more definition.

Are your eyelashes not as long as you wish they were?Girl, still rock that mascara.

Makeup is supposed to make you feel so much better about your appearance and give you such a confidence boost. But when it does not look the way you wanted it to, you get discouraged. I have been through the awkward stage that involved bright blue eyeshadow and the glittery pink lip gloss, and I sure did think I was rocking it even though in reality I looked like a sad clown. I was still confident in the way I portrayed myself through my makeup.

Confidence is a simple word that has a lot of meaning behind it. It can completely shape a person. If you do not have confidence in yourself then you are limiting your opportunities to achieve a goal. You have to believe in yourself. What better way is there than having a fresh face of makeup that showcases your confidence and lets people know you can take on anything? It does not matter if your makeup is perfect, all that matters is that you feel sexy and love the way you look. Nobody can take you off your pedestal beside yourself. Live your life however you want to live it. Most importantly, wear the makeup that makes you feel the most beautiful about yourself and the most confident version of you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
