One of the best teen shows that has taught us so many life lessons is One Tree Hill. Not only did it show us true friendships, it taught us to chase our dreams and made us believe that true love exists (#Naley). As everyone knows (unfortunately), the popular CW show was taken off of Netflix earlier this month. Here are everyone’s reactions to the show being taken off.

1. When you hear the rumors spreading around the internet

You are in disbelief; there is no way that Netflix would take off one of the most watched shows. You refuse to accept that this is real.

2. When you see legitimate articles confirming the news

Oh heck no. When that first E! Online article pops up and you realize that the worst thing in the world is about to happen to you. You’re so angry you throw your basketball across the river court.

3. When you start rewatching the show while you still can and it makes you happy for a hot sec...

You hear Gavin Degraw’s voice and see all the characters when they were so young and innocent; you can’t help but smile.

4. ...Until you see in the corner of the screen, “This show is available until October 1st..."

\

You channel your inner Chris Keller because you are just so angry that this is really happening.

5. When your friend asks if you’re okay

Spoiler: you’re definitely not okay.

6. When you tell them why you’re sad and they say “it’s just a show.”

You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.

7. So you start doubting Netflix for taking this away from you

Netflix clearly doesn’t care that “people always leave.” You definitely are considering canceling your subscription at this point. I mean we all know you won’t, but of course, you’re going to be dramatic.

8. When you start complaining about Netflix on Twitter and people retweet you so you know you’re in this together

The fandom has to stick together.

9. When your friend tells you that you’re acting crazy

>

You don’t see anything wrong with your actions. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

10. When Netflix doesn’t reply and you wonder if they even care about your happiness

Netflix is the reason why I will have trust issues. I’m as crushed as Nathan was when Haley left on tour in Season 2.

11. When you’re going out on the weekend and you start thinking about how you have limited time until OTH is gone

My inner thoughts: *down the bottle of wine*.

12. So you drunkenly buy the entire box set on Amazon for $200+

Waking up the next morning to a confirmation email that has drained your bank account was not so fun.

13. When you wake up on October 1st and you see that it’s really gone

No words.

14. When your friend tries to cheer you up

They say it’s okay...but you know it isn’t. Julian said it best.

15. When they tell you that you should start watching another show

Karen’s advice will always be relevant. “There is only one Tree Hill. And it is your home”. There will never be another show like this.

16. But you know that you will love One Tree Hill “Always and Forever."

You love One Tree Hill as much as Nathan loves Haley, and it will always be number one in your heart.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
