Music is a portal to take you where your heart and mind most desire and to open your heart to possibilities of light and sunshine.

I would not be who I am without the music I have experienced in times of stress and heartache, in times of trouble and sadness, in times of worry and insecurity.

God truly blessed this world with the beauty and truth that music brings and I wholeheartedly believe that the Lord uses music to speak to His sons and daughters. He uses the lyrics, the sounds, the atmosphere, the colors, the instruments, the movements. Every little detail that goes into the songs we hear and physically experience are delicately placed by the hands of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 16:11 says, "Go to the Lord for help, and worship Him continually."
Psalm 99:5 says, "Praise the Lord our God; worship before His throne! Holy is He!"
Psalm 100:2 says, "Worship the Lord with joy; come before Him with happy songs!"

I have an interesting, short personal story to tell you all.

I was at an Elevation Worship concert on November 1. We were just standing there, praying and talking when I get a notification on my Apple watch. If you have one, you know that it sends you notifications to take a break and breathe. Well, this was a notification I had never gotten before. It said, "There has been a high heart rate detected in a period of inactivity." Simply put, I was not doing anything that could have sparked an irregular fast heart rate. I was worshipping.

What a sparkle of the Lord! I was worshipping Him. I was talking to Him. I was singing to Him. I was praising Him. I was glorifying Him. And my heart went crazy for it all. My heart was effected by his mercy, through and through. How beautiful and blessed I am to have felt that little trickle of a God's hand in that moment.
