There is not a minute, an hour, or a day
That I don’t think about your smiling face.
The way you thought the world was your oyster
And nothing was too hard to conquer.
The way you thought that rules existed in certain places,
To hold us back and not let us be creative.
How you snorted when you laughed out loud,
And even in dark times you still smiled.
How even when I wasn’t feeling it,
You made me embrace life, and who I was.
I couldn’t have asked for someone more beautiful, more loyal, than you.
A friend that I hold dear even when death came for you.
One who I pray found peace in the darkest of days.
One whom I love dearly even to this day.
Nothing or no one could ever replace you.
You were one of my greatest friends one minute,
The next I was telling everyone how much I miss you.
I know its been some time now since you passed.
But for me the voicemails still makes it feel like your still around.
Going to call me and I miss your call.
Then text me how I’m a bugger for not answering you at all.
I call you a bugger picker for picking me,
And you laugh and say it was only just a dream.
Any moment you'll wake up and the world will be beautiful.
