Hello friends, family and anyone who stumbles upon this!
"Welcome back" to whatever it may be -- a new school year, a new beginning, a new transition, and just to all the newness.
Let's start with a brief summary of summer, lessons learned, and a transition into what's to come.
Summer was fast per usual. I personally was preoccupied with many other things in life, so I never quite got the time to sit and do what it is I truly needed to: center myself with the universe. As cliche as that sounds, I fell out of touch with it this summer.
I think I forgot how important it truly is. In a time of breakdowns and aloneness, it's hard to decide who to turn to or even if you should to anyone at all. Holding onto to the idea of trusting something with a greater power has always been a security blanket -- one that's very helpful. So, like I said, that's a new start for me. Learning to trust and listen to myself, the world around me and the universe again. I seriously lost touch.
I've always liked new beginnings; I've always liked new. However this year, I want routine. I want to learn to cope, grow, and be proud of myself and every decision I make. Who's with me?
Let's make this year one to learn from -- from classes to boundaries to limits. Let's unpack ourselves and find out how strong we really are when we need to be.
Welcome back, and cheers to the new!
