I wholeheartedly believe in supporting non-traditional Thanksgiving day foods! Check out my favorites and let me know if there's any that I missed!
1. Ham with Pineapples
This might be more of a Christmas meal for some people, but I am NOT a fan of turkey!
2. Cranberry Sauce
Apparently not many people like this, but cranberry sauce is one of my favorite Thanksgiving day sides! Plus, mix this with stuffing and you will be SO surprised!
3. Pecan Pie
Some people are more of the pumpkin and apple pie types... But this definitely changes once you've had an amazing homemade pecan pie!
4. Bacon Jam Brussel Sprouts
I had these for the first time last year and words cannot describe how delicious they are! Some people might think Brussel sprouts are disgusting, and I can totally see where they're coming from... but adding bacon makes them SO GOOD!
5. Green Bean Casserole
Crunchy onions on arguably the best vegetable... what's there not to like?
6. Hot Rolls
Okay, bread might be the most appreciated food of all time because it's AMAZING... but I love making little sandwiches composed of everything on my plate! Plus, anything you can put butter on is immediately AMAZING!
Regardless of what you eat on Thanksgiving, I hope everyone has an amazing meal and day surrounded by family and loved ones! Everyone deserves a full stomach and full heart! Be thankful for those who surround you, and for those who support you always!
