Let's be real. College is a tough time, and the end of each semester is an even tougher time. The last four to five weeks of each semester are basically inhumane torture. Sometimes as students we wonder if professors intentionally make all of their assignments due on the same day. Finals week causes an outright panic across campus. The library becomes crowded with people that you have never seen before, making you question if anyone "actually goes here".
Here are the last few weeks of the semester as told by "SpongeBob Squarepants".
1. When you can't go through an entire day without constant anxiety from your to-do list for the rest of the semester.
2. When someone asks what your plans are Friday and you can't even remember what year it is, let alone what day of the week it is.
3. When mom and dad ask why you haven't called in three weeks.
4. When your 20-minute power naps aren't cutting it anymore and you're strung out on Monster energy drinks and Starbucks.
5. When you get five minutes of free time and start to contemplate why you even pay $40,000 a year at this damn place.
6. When you have one dollar left in your wallet and you have to use it to pay for your rising credit card debt.
7. When someone tells you to take a deep breath and relax.
8. When you decide to treat yourself on a Friday night and go to the bar for the first time in months.
9. When finals week arrives and you finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
10. When you studied for weeks for your cumulative final and are one point shy of getting a 3.5 in the class.
HANG IN THERE GUYS, THE END IS NEAR.
