Daylong. Many schools call this all-day Saturday drinking binge a darty or a dage, but in State College it's simply called a daylong- ringing true to the words. Besides the question of: What time should we start drinking (which is as soon as you wake up) the next question is: What should I wear?

Daylonging has turned from just drinking all day- to who can wear the most outrageous, or funny clothing and of course get the best pics. I know I order clothes with the thought in mind "I can wear this to a daylong" and still wake up every Saturday morning thinking what should I wear?? So here is a comprehensive guide to daylonging clothes and what to wear so you can focus on the more important things, like making it to Pike before you have to sneak in the basement window.

Fuzzy Vests:

Regardless if it's August and 90 degrees or December and 9 degrees, fuzzy vests are always a good staple. You can wear them with a plain long sleeve tshirt, or you can wear them with ripped jeans and a tee. Regardless what you are sporting under the vest, as long as the vest is cute you're good to go.

Inappropriate T-shirts:

This one might be my favorite because sometimes I just sit back in amazement at what people wear out, but the girls, and guys, of State College never fail to amaze me when it comes to day longing t-shirts. The rule pretty much is, there are no rules. From crop tops, to dresses to normal length t-shirts and jeans, if it's rude or crude, you're good.

Jerseys:

This is another staple, so find your best guy friend, ransack his closet and go to town on jerseys. It might be his favorite sports team, or his school, but guaranteed you'll find a jersey you can rock with no pants and converse.

Hawaiian shirts, Onesies, T-shirt dresses, flannels:

Basically anything is a go on Saturday's. You want to wear a t-shirt dress with a flannel and slippers? GO for it! That's the fun part of daylongs so here's some inspiration.

If you want to wear it you can- just make it cute! While we are at it- here are some really good websites for daylong clothes...

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
