Why are girls apologizing for being themselves? You’re the way you are for a reason, so don’t let someone make you feel bad for that! There are so many things that you should not be saying “I’m sorry” for and here are just a few:

Do not apologize for getting excited about something you love.

If you enjoy something, you’re obviously going to be happy about it so, get excited! Don’t let someone downplay your joy. If you just saw your favorite band in concert and you’re still fangirling, keep freaking out because that's the best feeling.

Do not apologize for laughing so hard you can’t breathe.

You should never believe it when someone tells you, “That wasn’t even funny” or “That’s a stupid reason to laugh,”because to you it was hilarious. Whether it be a squeak, a snort or maybe even a squawk, just laugh it out. Laughter truly is the best medicine.

Do not apologize for talking about yourself.

Most of the time you listen to other’s issues and do whatever you can to help. So why feel guilty when telling someone how your day was for less than two minutes? You have your own baggage and sometimes you need to rant, and that’s totally okay! Talk about yourself and get it off your chest.

Do not apologize for being proud of yourself.

You work so hard for everything in your life, and when things turn out to be alright after everything you’ve done, you should be proud. There is no reason for you to hold back and not show off your progress.

Do not apologize for other's actions.

This point is so crucial because we think when someone wrongs us, it’s our fault. Like, “Oh, James cheated on me last week…it’s probably because I didn’t give him enough attention.”. No, No, and uh No. You are neverat fault when someone wrongs you. They made a bad decision, not you.

Do not apologize for being YOU.

No one should try to change you or make you feel bad about being the way you are. You are beautiful, intelligent, charming and loved. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
