Girl, we have all been there.

Right now, you probably feel like the whole world is caving down on top of you. You are asking yourself impossible questions like how you are going to get everything done, why you put all of this on yourself, and when the next time you can get a decent amount of sleep is, right?

Let me give you a word of advice: BREATHE.

If you are anything like me, you like to stress, but stress is not your friend. There is no reason to take out your aggravation, stress, or frustration on yourself or anyone else. Instead, turn your worries into focus and get going.

Make a list. Lists will be your best friend through all of this. Plan out your day, but remember to save time for yourself because the lack of self-love is what got you into this mess anyway.

Find a friend. Find your person who loves to be as busy as you. Talk about your day, and find new ways to stay organized and be efficient.

Take a break. Watch a show on Netflix or grab a coffee and treat yo'self. Use this time to get away from everything and truly take care of yourself.

Prioritize. Do you really need to be worried about a paper that is due in four weeks? Can you find someone to cover that shift you have been stressed about? Being able to prioritize the twenty things going on in your head will make this a breeze.

Remember, its temporary. I have to remind myself of this fact too often. All of this stress and these worries will be gone in no time at all.

Everything will get done. Eventually, this too shall pass and everything will be done. You'll look back on all of this thinking about how silly you probably looked because you were so worried about nothing.

Balance is hard to find which is why it is important to talk to yourself and stay focused. Remember to not be so hard on yourself and really think about things before committing. While it is good to be busy and get involved in a multitude of things, it is not fun to feel like you have no time for yourself or the people that mean the most to you.

Instead of joining a new club that meets in the 3-hour break you have before class and after work, book that time for yourself. Having dedicated time to do whatever you need to do or to do absolutely nothing at all is life changing — I promise.

Finally, give your self a pep talk and a pat on the back. Finding a balance and still getting to do all of the things you love to do is hard work. You are doing amazing, and not a lot of people can do what you are doing. Stay strong, stay focused, and love yourself.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
