School is ending soon.
The sweet release of summer is almost with us. With the end of the year (and honestly, a developmental era), each person copes (or celebrates) in different ways. Which are you: the sentimental weeper burdened with nostalgia, or the one who stares at the clock and counts down the seconds?
Regardless, there are some stages that we all go through.
1. Crunch Time
All the finals, AP exams, last minute grade drops, and honestly, you can't wait for it to be over. How can I keep my borderline grades where they are? How can I finish strong? Crunch time.
2. Impatience
Watch the clock. Count the seconds. You're almost there. The home stretch.
3. Finally!
The minute that bell rings on the last day, you suddenly become an Olympic sprinter.
4. Nostalgia
All right, all right. Regardless of how much you say you hate school, there's always a little bit emotion involved. All those classes you were in that you won't have again, all those teachers you grew to love and won't see everyday, and all your friends, oh gosh. The emotion. Compose yourself.
