You’ve finished all of your finals, said goodbye to your friends and unpacked your dorm. Next up---summer break. Don’t get me wrong, having 3 months off is necessary, because you can’t be in school forever. However, as much as you want those 3 months to fly by, they don’t.
Day 1: I could do this forever
No homework? No tests? So I can just lay around and watch Netflix all day? Sounds good to me.
Day 2: Missing your college friends
It’s hard to go from seeing your best friends everyday to not seeing them. Your solution? Facetime them 10 times a day. But, their reaction is not what you expect...
Day 3: Seeing your friends from home
Okay, maybe you should actually leave your bed. You start making plans with friends and suddenly relieve yourself from your temporary boredom.
Day 4: Laziness
Everything is going well until you walk out your front door and forget your friends aren’t a short walk across campus. Wait, I have to drive to see people? I can’t just walk?
Day 5: Boredom hits
Curling up with Netflix in bed every night becomes very boring, very fast. Your days consist of waiting for your next meal.
Day 6: Exercise. Exercise
You decide you should do something with your life. What better way to spend the summer than to get fit?
Day 7: Counting down the days until you go back to school
When nothing is cutting it anymore. No matter what you do, being home will never be as fun as being at college.
