Sometimes college can be stressful. We have to balance our school work, extra-curricular activities, sleep schedule and socialization. All the work starts to pile up, and let's face it, we all procrastinate. Then the semester gets closer and closer to ending, and we all slowly start to realize the real problems of being a college student. It's chaotic, but Mr. Grinch is right there with you for it all.

1. Just trying to find some alone time.

I mean he's right, you can't cancel on yourself.

2. Looking at all your assignments.

Study, write a paper, study some more, write another paper, worry, study some more. It's just an endless cycle.

3. ...then thinking about all the assignments you still have to do.

It's fine. I'm fine. Everything is fine.

4. After you've finished one assignments and decide to give yourself a well deserved reward.

One assignment down, only like 17 more to go. It's an acceptable time for a break.

5. When you get bored.

Let me call up some friends.

6. But then you have to find an outfit and it's harder than your classes.

It's the biggest struggle of them all.

7. ...and then giving up.

But then you wear the typical leggings and boots outfit, so it's fine.

8. Just remembering that Christmas is coming, and Christmas means a break from school.

Because I mean it is the most wonderful time of the year, after all.

9. When your professor keeps you over your class time.

Just have to make it to my next class on time.

10. After you take your last final exam.

Whew, we made it!

11. When the semester is finally over and you're just trying to get home ASAP.

Peace out school, hello Christmas time.

College is fun, but I mean it gets to be a struggle. Classes are crazy, you are expected to join clubs, of course sporting events are a must, you want to see your friends and sleep is crucial. Balancing everything is hard, but eventually you get the hang of it. I mean, even the Grinch knows our struggles.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
