Are you in your last week of classes?
Are you feeling tired?
Are you feeling like you just want to take a nap, but by nap I mean vacation away from all your responsibilities and possibly never come back?
It's the end of the semester burnout, coming for you.
It knows when you're at your most weak, most tired, exhausted mentally and physically time.
And, you know what it does?
It makes it worse.
It makes it impossible for you to focus on how the semester is almost over, how you're halfway done with the year after this last final, how nice it'll be to feel accomplished. Maybe you reached your goal GPA, maybe you passed a class you thought you were going to fail. Either way, it'll make celebrating seem almost impossible.
But, guess what?
Do it anyway.
Your body might be tired, your shoulders might hurt from carrying too many books, your fingers might be tingling from all the papers you just typed up, and maybe your head is starting to ache. (If it's a migraine, check out my last post titled So You Have A Migraine.)
But, you'll never be as young as you are now. You'll never have this moment again. You'll most likely never be in the same position you are in now, so you need to celebrate and move on before it disappears and all you did was sit and complain.
