If you clicked on this, it’s because you also are wondering how on Earth all of your friends suddenly fell in love with people and you somehow missed the memo. If this is the case, you’ve come to the right place. I present to you; the comprehensive guide on how to be single while all your friends are posting sappy insta posts.

1. Do all those things you never let yourself do because they take a long time.

Do some face masks, read a book or watch some Netflix. Do whatever helps you relax effectively. I don’t care what they say, being single is hard work when your face is as cute as it is, so take care of yourself! Take a break, call your friend and light a candle–unless you live in a dorm, in which case you should still light a candle, but very secretly. Don’t blame it on me if you get caught!

2. Post a bomb picture of yourself.

Do you need a significant other to look amazing? Nope. I recommend some sunrise or sunset lighting, or anything with puppies! Borrow someone's camera if you want a better photo than your phone could give you.

3. Buy yourself some gifts.

We all know that you could get yourself a better present than someone else ever could. So why not take advantage of that and spend money that other people have to spend on their S.O. on yourself?!

4. Laugh a little.

Try not to get caught up in feeling left out. If you go to UNC and aren't in "UNC Memes for National Champion Teens" then do you actually go to UNC??? Memes are 10/10, I would highly recommend.

If memes aren't your thing, watch some stand-up comedy, or listen on Spotify so you can laugh while you study. Do something that will make you smile and stay grounded.

Another way to get that glow on is to host a party!!!! Invite all your single friends to eat snacks and watch TV in your pajamas. ***Bonus points if you reserve the lounge in your dorm to watch the movie on a big screen***

5. Actually study for finals?

OK, this one isn't fun at all, but being successful and having good grades looks better on a resume than "omg I totes had a lover in college," you feel?

Single looks good on you, good luck this cuffing season.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
