As a college student who is currently on a break from school.
I had the chance to reflect and see the effects of being stressed about classes, grades, and work can have on a student. The start of the semester is always fun and exciting. There are fun events to help you get involved in the campus. You get to see all of your friends again and see your new professors.
That bliss seems to wear off by the second week, once your workload comes in and you have to start your balancing act all over again. I don't know about you, but not everyone is good a juggling.
To the students that had a rough semester, you are not alone! We have all had at least one. It's time to take this upcoming break as a chance to relax and regain your strength. You're not expected to know everything or make everything click on the first try. College is a great learning tool. It will teach you a lot about yourself, as well as, making you aware of what to do better next time. I know it can be disheartening, so here are some quotes to cheer you up and let you know that you aren't alone.
"The human condition is not perfect. We are not perfect specimens, any of us. We're not robots." -Michael Ovitz
"A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results." -Wade Boggs
"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence." -Helen Keller
"The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power." -Unknown
Keep striving and pushing towards your dreams. You're doing great !
