It’s that time of the semester, the time when you realize that there is no need to go to those classes where the professors don’t take attendance. The time of year when you’d rather binge watch some new show than go out with friends because it’s just too cold to be out at night. It’s that awkward time when there isn’t much homework to do since it is still early in the semester.

So, what do you do? Well you binge new shows, that’s what you do. And we all know how hard it is to find new shows mostly when you feel like you’ve seen all of them. Well that’s where I’m here to help, I’ll give you a list of amazing shows that I have either watched or someone I know has. So here we go.

1. "Grey’s Anatomy"

I know everyone has watched this and everyone has told someone to watch this. But I had to put it on the list, just in case you’re one of the few that hasn’t seen it yet. Medicine, drama, and Patrick Dempsey, what more can you ask. So seriously break out the tissues and start this show or restart it.

2. "Mad Men"

I mean come on, Don Drapper. As much as we all want to hate him for his womanizing ways, you just can’t. This show takes you through the world of 1950s ad men and there is plenty of drama to keep you watching. It can also be an informational series for anyone wanting to go into business. I mean the workplace hasn’t changed much right? Wining and dining clients, drinking, and womanizing, the world of business is the same as ever.

3. "Game of Thrones"

You need to watch this. There’s really no explaining it, just take it from me and watch it.

4. "True Blood"

I mean come on, its literally grown up "Twilight", who doesn’t love that. It has vampires and werewolves and drama. Honestly, it’s the perfect combination. We all grew up being obsessed with "Twilight" so naturally, this is the just the next series for us to obsess over. Also, it has Alexander Skarsgard, need I say more.

5. "The League"

For anyone who has ever played fantasy football you know how intense it can get and how competitive being in a league becomes. Well this show perfectly describes it and uses humor to show the true side of fantasy football.

6. "Trailer Park Boys"

This is probably one of the dumbest shows ever made, but it is also one of the best. Between studying and classes, we all need a little rest for our brains. This show is the perfect thing for that. There is no need to think with this show, just watch and enjoy.

These obviously aren’t all the best shows to binge but they are my favorites and the ones that I consider must sees for our age group. So, get that computer open and start binging my friends, you have a lot to catch up on.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
