Each year the Golden Globe Awards Ceremony celebrates the achievements of actors, actresses, directors and more. However, perhaps one of the greatest achievements from the 73rd Golden Globe Awards Ceremony is the fashion of Hollywood's greatest style icons on the red carpet. From the luxurious designers and full length dresses, we are able to see the major role fashion has on our favorite celebrities. Styled to perfection, I have compiled a list of the most chic and gorgeous trends at the Golden Globes this year.

1. Zendaya

Wearing a Marchesa dress, Zendaya rocked the red carpet. With a pleated skirt and exquisite hemline, this dress is both sophisticated and classy. The burgundy roses add an elegant detail to the dress, making it appropriate for the red carpet.

2. Jennifer Lawrence

Red like the glamorous red carpet, this stunning dress immediately screams glamour and beauty. The cut waistline creates an edgy vibe to the royal dress. This dress is decked in simple and refined jewelry, turning this entire look into a 10 out of 10.

3. Rosie Huntington Whiteley

In a champagne gown from Atelier Versace, Rosie Huntington Whiteley was ready for the Golden Globes. The golden sequins add a beautiful texture to the dress that combines well with the flowing hem. The cinched waistline creates the hourglass shape, making this dress picture perfect.

4. Laverne Cox

Trains aren't just meant for weddings, Laverne Cox proves as she conquered the Golden Globes in her beautiful Elizabeth Kennedy dress. This dress was easily one of the best dresses at the Golden Globes. The high neckline and mere simplicity of the gown are professional, yet elegant at the same time. This Elizabeth Kennedy dress created a timeless look that could be worn again and again. A haute couture look, it would be lovely to see it show up at the red carpet again.

5. Lily James

Lily James came to the Golden Globes in a Grecian style dress from Marchesa. The white, flowing fabric and elaborate neckline demonstrate a Grecian beauty. The simple silver jewelry from Harry Winston added to the Grecian look, making Lily James look like a goddess on the red carpet.

6. Jennifer Lopez

Leaving a ray of sunshine on the red carpet, Jennifer Lopez went bold and gold this time at the Golden Globes. Standing out in her chic dress from Giambattista Valli, she has left us talking about her gown. Her dress featured a small slit at her thigh while leaving the rest of the gown flowing behind her. Bringing out a few sparkling statement pieces to finish off her look, she certainly left a statement at the Golden Globes with this dress.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
