Sending Kelley Home On 'The Bachelor' Was The Wrong Move

I guess if you don't cry or start drama, Peter doesn't want you.

Ahhh! Kelley was probably one of my favorites this season. From the start, she seemed to be very mature, and once I saw how the girls acted, I knew she was the most mature in the house. We didn't get to see too much of her until the end, and I'm pretty upset about it.

Kelley and Peter had a good start, and it made us all believe that they had a great connection. I at least believed she would be there until the end, but man was I wrong.

Ever have one of those ahh moments? Yeah, I had one of those during Kelley and Peter's first one-on-one date.

Kelley started the episode honestly and I have to admire her for that. "Peter's with 12 other girls right now, so I'm just trying to have fun."

People were surprised at that comment when they heard it, but come on... all those girls were probably thinking that, too, but didn't have the guts to admit it.

Now skipping ahead to their one-on-one. Peter kept mentioning how their romance kind of plateaued, but maybe that's because he was too busy worrying about the drama in the house rather than focusing on connections.

I mean, I will give Peter credit for dealing with all that drama because I bet it isn't easy. But anyway, their date seemed to go pretty well. Nothing like relying on a wax candle to determine your future, right, Peter? I was rooting for those two.

Now, let's fast forward again to their dinner. This is really where Kelley shines in my opinion. But first, can we just talk about how much Peter hates the word "fun?" Kelley showed her maturity and, well, so did Peter.

Kelley expressed her idea of a relationship and she described it perfectly. She wants to be challenged and wants to be with someone who challenges her, too. I mean, I want that, too, so I understood where she was coming from.

When Kelley mentioned to Peter that he kept rewarding the drama, I almost fell out of my seat. This was the best line of the whole season. Kelley finally called him out on it, and the way he reacted was kind of telling.

This date showed that Kelley is ready for marriage. This week was so nerve-racking because of the 3-on-1 date. Kelley seemed confident and I didn't blame her. I thought she was for sure getting a rose. But sadly, she was sent home.

This was Peter's loss. Kelley seemed ready for a serious relationship. Besides that, she has a solid career, seems mature, and seems like a catch, honestly. But again, this was Peter's loss.

I don't know, but I think Peter made a big mistake.

I hope Kelley finds someone who will do all the things she asked for. She is my top pick for "The Bachelorette."

Hint, hint, ABC.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
