Bucket list- noun
informal
a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.

"making this trip is the first thing on my bucket list"

Crossing things off their bucket list is something millennials live for. From everything to skydiving to traveling the world, we are thrill-seekers. Nothing beats the sensation of chills running up your spine as the adrenaline of the moment finally hits.

I wanted to shake things up a bit and make an anti-bucket list. Here are 4 things I hope I never have to experience in my lifetime:

1. A massive natural disaster such as a hurricane, earthquake, etc.

I have been lucky enough to have grown up in rural Ohio. I have lived through nothing more than thunderstorms and hot days. I can’t imagine bunkering down in the basement for a tornado or leaving my home for a tsunami.

2. Dropping out of college and returning to my hometown.

This is what failure looks like in a sentence to me. I am the kind of person that wants to succeed no matter how hard I have to push myself. I have worked so hard to get to where I am and turning around and going back to that small town life seems like a nightmare.

3. Spending the night in jail.

"Orange is the New Black" seems like a pretty accurate depiction of what would happen if you put my spoiled ass in a jail cell. I don’t know how I would handle prison food.

4. Being in the middle of a war zone.

I really respect those who fight for our county so we can have freedom here. I think peace is something we take for granted; we can walk outside and (for the most part) not worry about being shot or kidnapped or bombed.

I think if we thought about the things we don’t have to or don’t want to experience, we’ll be so much more grateful for all the amazing things we do.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
