The All-Star Season of Dancing With the Stars We Need

There's no better way to celebrate 30 seasons than with an all-star cast.

In June 2005, Dancing with the Stars premiered for the first time. Now the popular tv show is in the midst of their 29th season. While this season has been full of changes in order to guarantee the best competition possible, this is not the first time the show chose to spice it up in the ballroom. Some of these changes included an athletes season and the all-star season. The all-star season marked the competition shows' 15th season and featured an "all-star" cast of former champions and crowd favorites. As the show aims towards its' 30th season, I think it is time to bring the all-stars back. So here are a few contestants I want to see back in the ballroom this next season.

1. Heather Morris

Heather Morris was a competitor on the season 24. She was partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy until the couple was eliminated. When Morris was eliminated it was met with controversy as fans argued that she was the best dancer on the show. Due to this controversy, I would like to see Morris compete again and see if she has what it takes to leave with the mirrorball this time.

2. Willow Shields

Willow Shields was a contestant on season 20 with her partner Mark Ballas. At the time she competed, she was only 14 years old which makes her the youngest contestant to have been on the show. Similarly to Heather Morris, Willow Shields was eliminated despite the support of fans which is why I think she would be the perfect all-star contestant. At the age of 14, Shields did a wonderful job with her performances and working with the rules placed in front of her. Now that she is 20, I would love to see her back in the ballroom and to fight for that mirrorball once again.

3. Noah Galloway

Noah Galloway was also a contestant on season 20. During that time, he was paired with pro dancer, Sharna Burgess. Galloway is a former US soldier who was injured during the Iraq War. Despite this, Galloway worked hard throughout the season and placed 3rd in the competition. Throughout the seasons, Noah Galloway has always remained one of my favorite contestants. The dances he performed with Sharna were inspiring and nothing short of breath-taking. I would love to see him make his way back to the ballroom for season 30.

4. Milo Manheim

Milo Manheim competed on the 27th season of Dancing with the Stars. During the competition, he was paired with Witney Carson. Manheim and Carson placed second in the competition despite the controversy surrounding winner, Bobby Bones. Manheim was a strong performer and I would be interested to see what he would bring to an all-star season.

5. Riker Lynch

Riker Lynch was another competitor on season 20 of the show. He was partnered with Allison Holker. The duo placed second in the season. The moment I remember most from the pair is the Pirates of the Caribbean dance on Disney night. This dance remains one of my favorites on the show. If there is an all-star season, Riker Lynch needs to be on it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
