Fall is slowly approaching (blessed) and for many that means time to get outside! With the horrendous heat dwindling away and the cool breeze making its way into the picture, we all start breaking out our walking shoes and our adventurous spirit.
Though some of you have been making your fall outdoor bucket list year round, others may be looking for some fall activity suggestions - I've got you covered!
1. Hike
This may be an obvious one, but the best way to enjoy the most glorious season is to take a walk to see all the beautiful leaves change color. Also, who doesn't love to hear the crunching of freshly fallen leaves under your feet? You can make the hiking trip a far away adventure or look for local trails!
2. Kayaking
Just because the weather is cooler doesn't mean you have to stray away from water activities. Kayaking is the perfect fall activity because you can enjoy the views of the colorful leaves from the water. Not only is the views breathtaking, but you get an amazing workout at the same time.
3. Apple Picking
Yes, I know this is one of the most basic fall activities, but what better way to take in nature! Grab your friends and head to an apple orchard. Plus side of this activity, the fun doesn't end once you leave the apple fields, head home and turn your pickings into the most incredible fall dish.
4. Camping
If you love the outdoors a lot, look into making your fall activity an overnight stay! Grab a tent and head to a campsite. Build a bonfire and spend the evening cooking the essentials: s'mores, s'mores, and more s'mores! Sleeping under the stars never sounded so good.
5. Pumpkin Picking
What better way to end our list of fall activities then with the most famous of them all! No matter how old you may be, a trip to the local pumpkin patch is a must-do activity! Picking a pumpkin is as much of a tradition as Christmas tree picking!
Start marking your calendars and fill your weekends with all things fall!
