The 4 Trips To Make In College

Here are the four trips I think every college student should make

College is supposed to be the most memorable time of your life before you are expected to adult. While it can be stressful sometimes, you really have to take the opportunities to make memories happen. I strongly encourage all college students to take the time to adventure and live while you still have enough free time to do so. Here are four trips that I have done or hope to do while I am still in college. Be young, wild (not too wild), and free!

1. Go to a water park!

Going away to the mountains is the perfect place to have a change of scenery and just get away for a while. The beach is unrealistic in the fall, but grabbing eight people and renting a cabin for a few days is the perfect weekend getaway. You can go hiking, sit in a hot tub, or explore the small town where you are staying and discover some amazing restaurants and shops.

3. Go to the beach, duh!

This is up for the adventurer, but every group of best friends in college need to just go on a random road trip. Make a playlist, pack some snacks, and various clothes for wherever you might end up. Make this trip what you want it to be, it never fails to end up with some amazing memories.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.

You know the best beaches and coves to go to.

You have no patience for the guy who can't back his trailer into the water right.

Doing the friendly wave to every boat you pass.

The cooler is always packed, mostly with beer.

Giving the idiot who goes 30 in a "No Wake Zone" a piece of your mind.
