This Is My Favorite Time Of Year BecauseĀ I'm Truly Alive
Preservation Of Moments

Since my birthday was a few days ago, I've really been getting into the feeling of autumn. Whenever this time of the year rolls around, I always feel a certain shift in myself. I really feel alive during this season. Something about the chilly breezes just washes over me. It's a season that brings life to the idea of "out with the old, in with the new".

I suppose that this "truly alive" feeling happens because it's the time when I was born. It reminds me of my early life, and just the transition of age. Every year I figure out more and more about myself, and I appreciate every year of my life due to that. It's an endless journey of self-discovery.

It also reminds me of all the records I listened to in my formative years. Whenever I listen to any one of those albums, it brings me right back. It was just the soundtrack to the time, but it's really the soundtrack of my lifetime. Now, I have all these chapters in my soundtrack to existing.

I'm really drawn to getting more photo edits done since I have some free time when college allows. I really start to appreciate all my accomplishments as well. Instead of doing, I'm observing and appreciating all I've done so far. Whenever I see how far I come, it always motivates me to keep going. I mean, why stop now?

Besides all of this self-discovery, the holidays are here. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The time starts to move rather quickly and before we know it, it's December. It's a great time of the year because you get some time to just relax and sit back to just take it all in. You can do something other than work. It's a time for celebration and enjoyment.

So, with all that, I'm wishing you all an early happy holiday season. Enjoy the time off.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
