Thanksgiving is a special time where you come together with your family to celebrate what you’re thankful for. The day centers on the premise of eating a turkey and pumpkin pied filled meal with your family. However, your table can be filled with some pretty interesting characters.
Lorlei- The young and spunky aunt. She usually makes joke about your mom and drinks a little too much wine. She always has something to add to the conversation and she makes Thanksgiving dinner one of your favorite holidays.
Rory- The college student in your family. Her dinner is usually focused on a slue of questions about her future. How’s college? What are you doing after? Have a husband yet? A career? A kid? Thinking about mortgages?
Luke- He’s the mystery man that tags along to most family functions, even though he’s not a part of the family. He makes you laugh and you’re waiting for the day he finally makes a move on your aunt.
Emily- She’s the stressed lady, often a mom or grandma, running around the house making sure every fork is in place and napkin is folded.
Richard- He’s pretty simple as long as he has turkey, he’s a happy man.
Sookie- The cook of the family. They’re often spastic and a little disorganized. However, no one can cook a better stuffing than them.
Michel- The negative nancy of the family. Over the course of the dinner, you’ll hear several remarks about the stuffing being too dry, the wine being too warm, or the general table a little drab. You’ll often envision throwing rolls, but you come back to reality when you’re reminded they’re family.
Kirk- He’s the family’s oddball. He makes you question your DNA relations with most things he says. It’s basically become an unspoken rule within the family that no one goes in alone when talking to him.
Taylor Doose- The family’s over-achiever. His conversations are focused on the newest business plan he has and the family reunions he plans, which no one will come to.
