While Thanksgiving is just right around the corner, Thursday to be exact, we shouldn't forget about it or skip it.
Many people are whizzing right past Thanksgiving to Christmas, but why? Why forget of a holiday where we sit around giving thanks and being with the people love and instead skip to the holiday of gift giving? People aren't thinking. Thanksgiving is an important time of the year, and yes, Christmas is also, but Thanksgiving still comes a month before Christmas does and people seem to forget that.
Don't get me wrong. I love the lights, I love giving gifts, I love Christmas traditions, but I also love Thanksgiving and don't want it to be a forgotten holiday because it shouldn't be forgotten. Don't forget to give your thanks from this year, spend time with your family, and enjoy the great food.
Let's not forget about all the food we get to enjoy and be thankful for!
Don't forget all your family who loves you and is there for you through everything — thank them! Don't forget your friends who do things for you and hangout with you — thank them! Give thanks to everyone you've encountered over the past year at least or even more!
Live, laugh, and love this Thanksgiving holiday, and don't forget the football, the turkey, the stuffing, your friends, your family, and those who keep us safe overseas.
I challenge you to thank at least 10 people who have made your year better or maybe even worse, people who have made you stronger, and the people who love you unconditionally. Be thankful this Thanksgiving, be loving, and eat up all that food.
