Christmas time, is always exciting. Especially when you're a kid. Everything is happy, bright, presents everywhere, and no troubles in sight. At least that is what we see. For our moms, Christmas can be very stressful and busy. I especially have seen this in my mom. My mom has always tried to make everyone happy and put others above herself during the Holiday season. She always is so giving. That is why I would like to take this time to thank my mom.

Mom, you are the most loving and giving person I know. You quite literally would give the shirt off your back to anyone you deem in more need of it. You have given so many things up for your kids. You always put us and our happiness over yours. Your generosity seems endless. You are the greatest example I could have. I am so glad to call you my mother. So this Christmas season I hope you get everything you deserve and more. I know you are stressed and I just want you to know all you do does not and will not ever go unnoticed by me. What you do for everyone is seen and appreciated by me. Thank you for doing everything you could and more for myself and my brothers. You deserve the world mom. I love you so much. Thank you for not just what you do during Christmas but what you do every day of the year for me.

Make sure you thank your mom and love on her this Holiday season. Moms really do not get enough credit for what they do. they do so much behind the scenes that we do not even realize. Our moms really do deserve the world. So show your mom a little extra appreciation every once and awhile. Also to all the moms out there know we love you more than you know.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
