Everyone has heard the phrase "a dog is a man's best friend", but until you've had a pupper of your own, it's just a phrase. They are there for you through thick and thin and without them this world would be worse off. To all the doggos out there, thank you for all you do.

1. Always greeting me at the door with kisses galore and a tail that might just wag itself off your body.

2. Snuggling with me night and day. Even though you take all of the covers you're still the best to fall asleep and wake up to.

3. Always making sure my plate is clean. What would I ever do with my last few bites of cheeseburger if you weren't here?

4. Making sure there's always a toy to play with whether it's a ball, squeaky bone, or rope, my hands are never empty.

5. Helping me spend time outdoors. Going on long walks and hikes just aren't the same without you.

6. Protecting me from all of those scary noises out the window. You never know when that garbage truck may attack.

7. Comforting me no matter what mood I'm in. You're there to lick up my tears of sadness or of joy.

8. Making sure I get up at the same time every morning. Who needs an alarm clock when I have a pup pawing at me.

9. Keeping all of my secrets. I can always tell you about that cute boy in science class, or what awful thing my best friend did without you spreading it around.

10. Loving me no matter what. It doesn't matter if I'm gone for five minutes or five hours, if I'm deathly ill, if I yell at you, or if I forget your treats you will always love me unconditionally.

Thank you for being the best pupper a girl can ask for. With you I am never lonely. You're a good girl.
