On July 16th, I attended an outstanding performance by Luke Bryan at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. While this was a very last minute and pricey decision, it was well worth my money. Me and a few friends decided to purchase tickets just two days before the final show, and I had more fun than I ever expected.

Luke Bryan is the type of musician that does not confine himself to one category. While, he remains proudly in the country music genre, his songs appeal to anyone and everyone, whether you are a fan of country or not. Usually, when I attend a concert, I expect to be able to sing lyrics to a few songs, while I just kind of aimlessly dance around to the ones I don't know. But, Luke's songs are all so catchy and popular that obnoxiously belted out each and every one of them. The slow ones and the upbeat ones, the old and the new. From "All My Friends Say" (2007) to "Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day" (2016), I did not miss a word in between, and the entire crowd was going crazy the whole time.

Luke Bryan knows exactly how to get his crowd going. Not only is he an amazing musician, but he seriously knows how to perform. His hip-swaying and butt-shaking are always fun to watch and the tequila shots were a nice touch. There was literally never a dull moment during the entire show.

Personally, my favorite part was his sincere tribute to Gillette. About halfway through his set, he stopped his performance to say one single, yet very powerful, phrase: Free Brady. Of course, the entire crowd started to roar. The energy in the room was so intense, and I was so excited to be a part of it. He even added four songs to his set in honor of Tom's suspension. Luke Bryan really new how to amp it up at Gillette Stadium.

I would pay one hundred dollars many times over for a ticket to this show, because I was honestly so impressed with the performance. I have been to many shows, but none have gotten me as excited as this one. Luke Bryan knows how to have fun on stage and interact with his audience and the performers around him. He clearly loves what he does and it shows through with every song and every lyric.

Thank you, Luke Bryan, for a wonderful night! #FreeBrady

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
