Dear God,
There are countless times where you have shown me your excellence and your abounding grace. You have guided me through the darkest of times, showing me that you are the brightest light ever created. Thank you for all that you have provided. But more importantly, thank you for giving me life. Each and every day has its challenges and lessons, but you are continually teaching me how to overcome those challenges. Even when I don't understand what is going on and just want answers, You always remind me that You are ultimately in control and that you are always good.
Thank you for helping me realize that you are my true Father, no matter what type of situation may come my way. You have got a hold of me and are always there guiding me along your right path. When I feel alone and afraid, wishing I had my biological father around, You comfort me. When I don't know which direction to turn, You are always there showing me your way. You are and always will be my good, good Father. Thank you for always being more than I ever wanted.
Thank you for also allowing friends to come into my life. As hard as it would have been to say at the time, thank you for taking away friends from my life. You knew what was best for me and knew that the ones who truly cared would’ve stayed. Since those particular people left, my life has been better. You are showing me ways to further Your kingdom with my current friends in Christ. And although some bad things have happened to my friends, making me wonder why you allowed those situations to happen, you show everyone that you have something better in mind. Thank you for helping everyone realize that my friends and myself are stronger than we ever imagined.
Thank you for every opportunity I receive to stop and enjoy your wonderful world. Whether it’s the birds in the sky, the perfect sunsets in the sky, or just how everything in my life works out so perfectly. God, thank you. You create everyone and everything beautiful, in Your image. You show your excellence through everything in my life. Even if I don’t realize it in the moment, thank you for helping come to that realization.
You are amazing, wonderful, and excellent God. Thank you for everything you have done for me throughout my life and thank you for everything you will continue to do. You are certainly a good, good Father to me. I would be so lost in darkness without your glorious light, Lord. There is not enough thanks in the world for everything you continually do. So I will leave it at this. Thank you for comforting, providing, loving, and calling me your own.
Sincerely,
Your Daughter
