They say one of the best things about joining a sorority is big-little reveal. They're right. You finally get to find out who will be your go-to person for the rest of your life. A big-little bond is something that is so special and every relationship is different. But, as a little, a big will show you everything you need to know and sometimes we forget the little things that are done for us.
1. Thank you for being my go-to.
Whether it is asking you to go get Chick-Fil-A or wanting coffee, you are always just a text away from saying yes. Like always, if I have a problem, you are the first to know. But seriously thank you for always being up for anything no matter what time of the day.
2. Thank you for teaching me there is more to a sorority.
I was probably the last person to join a sorority, because of some of the reputations that follow. I didn't want to be a part of something that seemed so pointless to me at the time. But you showed me the love and constant flow of support that comes from being in a sorority. You showed me that a sorority girl is no longer the tall blonde girl.
3. Thank you for loving me.
I mean it. You didn't have to take me as your little. It was a choice that you made but you haven't stopped loving me from the first day I walked into the house. You love all of my flaws, weird noises, and my coffee addiction. You love my family as your own and that is something not even some "best friends" do. You accepted me as who I am from the beginning.
4. Thank you for choosing me.
You could have stopped at one little, but you didn't. You wanted me in your life as much as the first little. Something gave you the idea to take me as your second little and you acted on it. You didn't have to have me but you wanted me.
5. Thank you for keeping the creepers away from me.
We have all been there, that one guy who keeps asking to dance at the club. Thank you for making it known that I was off limits to said creepers and being my own little protection service.
6. Thank you for being my blessing in disguise.
God couldn't have put you in my life at a better time. Before I had you, I didn't know I needed you. Now I have you and don't want you to ever graduate and leave. You will be my big for life but I never knew that I would end up relying on you for so much. You showed me that the sorority had more to offer and even the school had more to offer. You always say I couldn't have came into your life at a better time but I think the same for me.
