Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Current Teachers,

Thank you. You all have given the greatest gift of all to a new generation of students, including us. We could not be more thrilled to follow in your footsteps when we finish college. You loved teaching, so we loved learning and wanted to share that with the world. We can't thank you enough for giving us a hope for the future, our future.

Thank you for showing us what it is to love learning. Because of your love of teaching, we loved learning. We plan on taking what we learned from you and using it in our own classrooms. You have taught us many great things that we want our students to learn as well. You inspire us to be better teachers so we can make you proud and do the things you want us to, so we can better ourselves in the process.

Thank you for being great teachers. You love what you're doing which made us want to be like you. We can't imagine what we would do if we hadn't had you in our lives. Being a teacher is hard work and we didn't realize that the hard work pays off when you love doing it. You showed us that hard work and determination can make a teacher great. We will take this in stride and be the great teachers you taught us to be.

Thank you for paving the way for us. You have made this whole teacher thing a little less difficult. You helped make changes in education so we can do more for our students and paved the way for us to be just as amazing. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for your sacrifices. We appreciate all the hard work you put in and will put in just as much to further educational advances in the future.

Thank you for not giving up on us. As we go to college, you allow us to observe in your classrooms so we can see what education is all about. You give us advice and encourage us to do great things. You always make sure we know what we're getting ourselves into without scaring us away. You're honest with us and we appreciate everything you do. You have made us fall more in love with education by being true to who you are and allowing us to see that.

Current educators, thank you. We can't wait to make you proud of the work we put in when we graduate. We have only you to thank for encouraging us to be the best teachers we can be. You all have made the decision to be educators much easier than it would have been years ago. We are determined to make a difference and never stop doing what is best for our students. We will do everything we can to make sure that educators are given the respect they deserve by earning the trust of parents and students alike.

We won't let you down,

Future Educators

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
