Always there when I need you.

Thank You. Thank you for always picking us up when our parents couldn't leave work on time. Thank You for always getting us food and telling us to just keep our money (our parent's money). There are so many more, but if I was gonna name them all I would be here all day. I would not change a single thing and I cannot imagine not having my Mawmaw. Ever since I was a little girl you've come to every school event, every sporting event, and always made sure I had everything I needed.

Sometimes you probably call us by the wrong names but that's okay because we know who you actually meant to call. Being away at school makes me miss you so much. Every text and every phone call with you is great. I love to visit you even if it's just a short visit.

I know there are times where we forget to remind you how important you really are and how much you are shaping our lives. You're not just my grandma you're one of my biggest role models and a best friend. You never forget my birthday even though I am not your only grandkid. No one can cook like you. I go to restaurants and get something you've made me before and think to myself, my grandma could have made that better. You're honest, kind, funny and everything I hope to be when I am older and have grandkids. Your laugh is contagious and always makes me laugh right along with you. So, I thank you for your humor and countless moments of laughter.

You do put a smile on my face but also know how to keep in check. I am thankful for this also because you are pushing me to be my best self. You know me and know when I am not using my strengths to the best of my abilities, and call me out. I could never be grateful enough for this. Thank you for always spoiling me above and beyond. I know that if you have the means you will spoil all of your grandkids tremendously.

I can't imagine not having you in my world and I never want to. I am so thankful for the memories we already have and all the ones we will make in the future. So, thank you for always doing stuff for me without a complaint or pause. I love you more than you will ever know.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
