Every once in awhile Jimmy Fallon does a “thank you note” segment on his show. I have always loved hearing what Jimmy is thankful for so here are my very own thank you notes.

Dear Mom and Dad,

If I truly thanked you for everything you do and have done for me then this article would need a glossary. Being apart from you is hard, but your warmth and unwavering positive energy make me feel like you are always close by. You have taught me compassion, patience and unhindering love, three virtues that have guided me throughout my life. For these things and much more I am eternally grateful to you.
