To my life long love,

Because we have been together for so long, it's hard to think of every little thing I need to thank you for doing for me over the years, and to show you how much I appreciate it all, but I am here to remind you that it all really means so much to me, especially because its you who is doing all of these things for me. Your ambition, sense of humor, selfless attitude, and big heart are some of the many reasons I am so happy, because you're mine, and only mine.

Deciding to continue our relationship into college after we graduated high school was the best decision we've ever made. A lot of people questioned it fearing we would miss out in experiencing what other people in college had to offer, or miss our on the typical 'single' life experience in college, but I am glad we didn't listen. I'm glad we defied the odds, I'm glad we gave it a try, and in the end it worked out that I found the love of my life so young. We can't deny that there weren't hard times along the way, but over these past four years we've learned how to grow up from young teenagers to young adults together, and in the end we still had each other through the good and bad, that's all that mattered. And believe me when I say that I am 100% ready for more good and bad times with you, because even in our worst moments we know everything will be okay because of the love we have for each other. You are my zen, my safe haven, my favorite person to be silly with, to cry with, and to grow with because we fell in love for a reason, and I don't ever want to let that go. Since we've been together for so long, you have become more than just my boyfriend, you are my best friend. I never imagined myself settling for my high school sweetheart, but because of you I encourage anyone who believes their first love will be their last. You are the only person who I can feel completely okay with laying in bed, not doing anything for days because in that time you still make me feel special, beautiful, and loved, even when it's doing nothing but laying in our bed. I love to see your smile, I love to hear your hopes and dreams, and because I've known you for so long, i will do anything in my power to push you towards your dreams, because you deserve it more than anyone. We both have changed throughout the years, but you still manage everyday to leave me in awe, because how your actions are always kind, and selfless, and that is the kind of man I want to have a future with.

I feel so lucky to have you as mine for the past four years to me, best part of our relationship is that we are able to look back years before, we've made along the way, but at the same time, can comfortably look forward to what the future awaits for us. I cannot thank you enough for all the years of pep-talks, the laughs, supporting my dreams, picking me up when I want to give up, and even the times you annoy me on purpose, I'm just so blessed that of all the people you could have chosen, you chose me. I cannot wait for what this year, and all the other years have in store for us,
