Friendship is a wonderful thing. Even though I may not always show it, I know that I have some of the best friends in the world. Times are tough in college and it's hard to meet up with friends constantly, so texts and calls are a blessing. While I may be separated from my closest friends by distance, it's always comforting to know that those sweet, little moments can be cherished again with a few simple texts.

1. "I need to tell you something."

2. "DON'T tell anyone."

3. "This reminded me of you."

4. "You were in my dream."

5. "OMG I love you, you're the best."

6. "Thanks for being there for me."

7. "I'm here for you."

8. "I miss you."

9. "We're literally the same person."

10. "No one else gets this joke LOL."

11. "JINX we're like telepathic or something."

12. "Can't wait to see you soon."

13. "I have so much to tell you."

14. "I have tea."

15. "OMG [mutual enemy] is being so annoying rn."

16. "How could you leave me alone in class today???"

17. *Happy Birthday Post*

18. "We need to discuss [TV show]."

19. "Can we go [place/restaurant/activity] together?"

20. "Can I rant for like 2 minutes?"

21. *Sends screenshot of a text conversation*

22. "How was your day?"

23. "How are you?"

24. "Let's hang out."

25. *After you say something funny* "I'm actually laughing."

26. "Remember when you... [a memory or tiny detail you didn't expect them to remember]"

27. *Good morning and good night texts*

28. "Which picture should I post?"

29. *Inside joke*

30. "I wish you were here."

31. *Roasts each other*

32. *Having that same pointless argument yet again*

33. *Calls or FaceTimes without warning*

34. "You're my best friend."

In the end, it's always the little things that add up and matter the most. Shoutout to my best friends!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
