Seriously, though.

5 Things People Do While Driving That You Have Every Right To Be Mad About

Let's be serious, it's rare that you see someone who is completely calm in the car. After being cut off, behind the slowest drivers, getting caught at every red light, it's hard to just be okay with all of the mishaps all of the time. On the contrary, there are also those people who are so oblivious to the other people around them that you instantly get frustrated while driving behind them. Yes, there are always exceptions, but here are a few things that it's all right to get frustrated with while driving.

When People Don't Use Their Blinkers

Hello?! It's the law and it's actually super helpful to the other people on the road to see why you're slowing down to a stop on a road where you should be driving 30 MPH. It's incredibly dangerous to not use your blinker and it's okay to get upset when those around you don't use them!

When People Don't Brush The Snow Off Their Car

This one is for my northern people. It's so frustrating driving in the winter and having snow from a different car fly off into your windshield! It's also so dangerous to those around you when you don't properly clean off your car. Just take the extra two minutes to clean it off, it'll make everyone more happy.

People Who Drive Really Slow In The Left Lane

The left lane is made for passing. It's for people to go around slower moving people. Clarification - there's nothing wrong with driving slowly! There is something wrong when people are trying to move to the right to get around you because you're going so slow that you're disrupting all of the traffic around you. It's actually very unsafe, as it usually causes more accidents because everyone's trying to get around you.

People Who Always Use Their Bright Lights

Everyone wants to see when it's dark out. That's totally understandable! But maybe be courteous of the drivers around you and try not to blind them? Especially when you're driving on windy roads. It can be really hard to see at night as is and sometimes people hate driving in the dark, but blinding another person so it makes it even tougher for them to see the road isn't right. Just use your normal lights while driving by others.

People Who Use Their Phones While Driving

Yes, everyone's lives are on their phones these days and yes, it's okay to use your device for navigational purposes. But for the love of all that's good in the world, just stop texting while driving. It's unbelievably stupid.

At the end of the day, we're all just trying to get from point A to point B. Let's all help each other out and be a little bit more courteous on the road, okay?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
