Fall is easily one of the best times of the year. The leaves beginning to change colors make nature beautiful, there’s pumpkin spiced EVERYTHING, and of course the FASHION! Fall fashion is definitely my favorite. It’s cute, easy, and most importantly, comfortable. Here is a list of 10 fall essentials that need to be in your closet this season.

1. Leggings

What girl doesn’t own multiple pairs of leggings? Fall is the perfect time to pull these babies out. Dress them with a long sweater or oversized sweatshirt paired with cute socks and booties, not only will you be super stylish but you will be super comfortable.

2. Booties

Booties are absolutely a must for every girl's closet when the seasons begin to change from summer to fall. Paired with rolled up jeans or leggings they can easily dress any outfit.

3. Scarves

The easiest accessory to contribute to any outfit! Scarves provide cozy comfort while adding style and sass to a cute top or dress.

4. Vests

Tis’ the season of vests! Fall is the perfect time to pull out your vests. Wear a cute, long sleeve shirt or sweater and you’ll be feeling snug as a bug while sippin' on your latte.

5. Ponchos

Growing up as a 90s kid EVERYONE wore ponchos. But that doesn’t mean they’re out of style! Ponchos are a staple for your closet, and fall is the perfect season to pair these cozy ponchos with a pair of leggings or jeans.

6. Flannels

Fall can't be complete without a closet full of flannels! Whether it’s your favorite from Forever 21 or one you stole from your boyfriend, flannels are easy to throw on any outfit and complete the look.

7. Brown purse

Although not an article of clothing per say, this accessary if a fall must! Brown bags go with every outfit and are perfect to throw all your must haves in and go. Whether you're running to class or grabbing some coffee, a simple brown tote is a must.

8. Sweater headwrap

Not quite cold enough for a hat, but still pretty chilly? Sweater headbands! Not only will these keep your ears nice and toasty, but they will accessorize any outfit.

9. Oversized sweatshirt

On those cool fall days when you’re just feeling lazy, ok a little extra lazy, oversized sweatshirts are the answers to all your problems. They’re warm, fuzzy, and just make you feel safe on days when you need it most.

10. Monogram

Last but not least monogram clothing is always a fashion trend, but the style is highly prevalent during the fall months. Jackets, sweaters, or boots flaunting your initials make a cute stylish look that is unique to YOU.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
