It's that time of year again! The cold fronts start to roll in and your cute, comfy sweaters start to roll out.

During Florida's very few weeks of chilly weather comes a herd of excited people, like yourself, who can finally begin to brag about how you aren't sweating during your walk to class.

The air feels thinner and smells crispier. You walk with a little more pep to your step. You bring out the candles and hot chocolate because what better excuse to get cozy than with these essentials?

It's also the start to everyone's favorite season! All of the best holidays are rolling in, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and so many others.

1. You posted a snapchat story with the temperature.

Yes, Yes you did. So did everyone else on your Snapchat friends list. We should just fire the local weatherman because Snapchat is our new form of up to date weather forecasts.

2. You announced at least once in a conversation "I'm so happy I don't have to sweat on my way to class anymore."

Maybe you were telling your roommate yesterday, or you just made a mental comment acknowledging the obvious fact that cool weather meant no sweat.

3. You contemplated playing Christmas music on full blast.

Pregame? Jingle Bells! Morning coffee? White Christmas. Play them all, let us hear it!

4. You ran into your closet, and unpacked all of your long sleeve t-shirts and sweaters

It's that time! The Florida peeps can finally whip out their winter wardrobe and show off all the articles of clothes that have been to shy to show face.

5. Uggs? It's Ugg season!

We all know that one person who whips out their Uggs #ASAP.

6. You swapped your water bottle for your coffee mug

Keep my hands warm and my soul? Bring it on.

7. It's candle season!!

Nothing makes you happier than your Bath and Body Works candles!

8. You plan nights for baking and wine.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
