To my teachers and professors who have lead me to the person I am today:
Thanks to you, I have learned so much. This isn't just for the professors and teachers whose classes I enjoyed, but also for the ones who have challenged me and have helped me become a better student. I have a handful of professors who I will never forget, some I still communicate with today, and some who are actually no longer teaching. Without you, I may have never learned to network or form connections. In a way, you've helped develop my confidence because now I'm never afraid to approach a professor.
To my favorite high school English teachers, you know who you are, without you I may never have learned to speak in front of a crowd with a clear voice and confidence. I may never have decided to someday show my writing to anyone but myself without your guidance. My writing may never have improved to something that I am proud to call my own and share with the rest of the world.
To all my science teachers and professors, thank you for making me love the subject of science and helping me see I was made to live and breath in the field of science. Without you, I may have never realized that the thing that interested me most was biology, and that chemistry is the worst subject on this planet (I respect you, chemistry majors and professors).
To my college professors who have lead me to the career path I'm following. You are some of the people who have encouraged me to be open to all possibilities and outcomes. Without you, I might have never tried out different internships, applied for certain scholarships, or taken other majors into consideration. You are some of the people who have helped me understand that it's okay to have more than one major, or a minor or two, and follow your dreams for purpose and joy, rather than just for money.
Thank you to all my teachers who have helped me succeed.
