On December 2nd, Taylor Swift shocked fans with a sneak peek of what to expect when she releases the re-records of her original five albums. Now the existence of her re-records is not what shocked her fans because Taylor Swift has been very open about her intentions to re-record her albums in order to maintain ownerships of the albums she created. The fans just had no idea they would be able to hear it so soon. On Wednesday, Taylor took to Twitter in order to share a commercial written by Ryan Reynolds. Well, it was to everyone's surprise to be able to hear the first snippet of Swift's Love Story re-record. Honestly, can someone thank Ryan Reynolds on behalf of Swifties everywhere. Now if you are anything like me than you have been tracking every little bit of information about this re-record since its' release and if you're not don't worry I've got you covered. Here is what the fans just can't stop talking about.

1. Taylor's vocal maturity

If you've been following Taylor Swift for a while now, you know how much not only her style but also how her vocal strength has changed throughout the years. When Taylor initially released Love Story she was only 18 years old and now she is 30. After years and years of performing this song and improving, Taylor knew exactly how she could make it better.

2. The possible lyric change

So this theory has been floating around for a while; but, fans think this finally proves it. When listening to the snippet some fans thought they heard a lyric change that leads them to believe Taylor is engaged to her boyfriend, Joe. Personally, I can't tell if the lyric change is there so I guess we will just have to wait and see.

3. The sound effects

The sound effects that you hear in the background of the snippet have quickly become the most talked about part of all this. I felt like it was an amazing detail to add and overall, just really loved it. So next time you listen to the snippet, listen out for the iconic eagle, water running and my personal favorite which is the wedding bells.

4. The surprise factor

I think something that helps Taylor Swift be so successful is her ability to surprise her fans. We've seen that numerous times this year with the release of her new album and different documentary series. As a Swiftie, you never know what to expect next and this snippet was a perfect example of that. Not only was it an unexpected release but we had no idea what was in store for us when we heard it. If this is a sign of what is to come, I can't wait to see what Taylor has up her sleeve next.

5. The overall experience

Unlike the original version of this song, Taylor worked to create a full experience for her fans. It is more than just a song she quickly put together. You can tell she put everything she had into making it even better than the original (and it shows).

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
