10 Of Taylor Swift's Most Iconic Lyrics That You Should Already Have Memorized

Now, as probably no one reading this excluding my mom knows, Taylor Swift is without a doubt my favorite person on this planet.

No questions asked, her music has been my security blanket since I was in elementary school and the lyrics she's written have put my worst and best feelings into words.

These are just a few of the many incredible lyrics written by my favorite girl:

1. "Please don't ever become a stranger whose laugh I could recognize anywhere" - New Years Day

This lyric is a plea to someone she loves so much to stay and this song came out right when I was pleading someone with a melodic laugh to stay in my life and now he's that stranger.

2. "You had turned my bed into a sacred oasis" - Dancing With Our Hands Tied

This lyric describes that feeling of being so comfortable with someone and being able to just escape when you're with them and isn't that what you strive for?

3. "Now you try on calling me, baby, like trying on clothes" - King Of My Heart

For me, when I hear this lyric I think of a new relationship where everything is still exciting and you're still so high on puppy love.

4. "I bury hatchets, but I keep maps of where I put 'em" - End Game

I think this lyric represents a lesson we all need to learn and that is that you can forgive and not forget because why forgive people that did you wrong.

5. "If a man talks shit then I owe him nothing" - I Did Something Bad

This is so relevant to my life and a huge lesson I needed to learn about toxic men in my life, I'm glad this is something Taylor has realized as well.

6. "They're burning all the witches even if you aren't one" - I Did Something Bad

This lyric really is about this persona the media has created for Taylor and how they've painted her as this witch and wrote her story for her instead of letting her do the writing.

7. "You're still all over me like a wined stained dress I can't wear anymore" - Clean

This lyric represents the period after you're with someone where you see them in everything and you are thinking of them constantly.

8. "Loose lips sink ships all the damn time" - I Know Places

This lyric is about how people's rumors about her ruin things for her such as friendships and relationships.

9. "And I lived in your chess game but you changed the rules every day" - Dear John

This lyric means so much to me and represents a toxic relationship you're feeling stuck in.

10. "You call me up again just to break me like a promise, so casually cruel in the name of being honest" - All Too Well

Easily Taylor's best lyric and the one that breaks my heart every time I hear it.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
