I am tall.
I have always been tall.
I will always be tall.
Most of the time I love and accept myself the way I am, but sometimes there are disadvantages to being above average in the height department.
1. Pants
Pants are hard. Finding ones that fit both your length and waist is a real challenge, and it's a pain. Headaches. Pants, you give me headaches.

2. Shoes
No store ever has your size in the shoe you want. Ever. #zappos

3. Dating
Needless to say, this can be super annoying. When you see a guy that you think is cute, and then discover he's actually a lot shorter then you, it can be a real damper on your mood. Also, whenever you see a shorter girl with a super tall guy, it's kind of like, "I wish y'all the best but...there's so many waisted inches..." However, sometimes a taller girl with a shorter guy is also kind of adorable.

4. Kids Suck
When you were younger, other kids often pointed to your height and teased you for being a giant. You sometimes still think about that today, and often catch yourself slouching, but you're beautiful. Rock that height.

5. Heels
They make your legs look amazing. But they also make you look eight feet tall. #thestruggleisreal

6. Literal Headaches
It's not just in the movies; I hit my head, and other limbs, on things all the time. I think I just forget how tall I am, and constantly bang my head on the obstacles in my path.

7. Legs
Sorry, my legs aren't shaved. They are three feet long. That's a lot of landscape. It takes forever. I do not have time to do it everyday. #sorrynotsorry

8. Assumptions
Sometimes people assume things about you simply because you are tall. Like, every tall woman plays basketball, or perhaps that taller women are more masculine. Assumptions suck. They aren't who you are, and they are not what define you. You are more than how many feet tall you are, or your clothing size.
I am who I am. Who I am is a tall women. I love who I am, and I wouldn't trade my life for any other. Being tall can be a struggle, but it is also an advantage. Be true to who you are, and if that's a tall, strong, independent women, then embrace it.
